Sal Island is the most famous and visited island in Cape Verde. With its motto "No Stress", it captivates travellers with its relaxed atmosphere, endless white sand beaches, and warm waters of an unparalleled turquoise. A former land of salt flats (hence its name), today it is a global hub for Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, and diving.

Med flyg: Amílcar Cabral International Airport (SID) - receives direct flights from Europe and daily inter-island flights.

Med båt: Weekly ferry connections from São Vicente and Boavista (not recommended for tourists due to duration).
